Friends of Rynaga
We have a team of supporters who help with the Rynaga project. Not only do they offer their support and encouragement in many ways, they take the time to help with in-depth tasks such as game testing for Iconica and organizing events.
Larissa and Gavin Torres
I absolutely could not do what I do without the support of my family. Not only is my wife Larissa the brains of our operation, she's my greatest inspiration. She sets up events, researches cons and makes arrangements for us. She is also an expert project manager and helps keep me on track and undistracted.
Our son Gavin never ceases to amaze me with his honesty, inquisitiveness and creativity – traits I aspire to hold on to myself. His interests include writing code for games, creating pixel art, making origami art, playing his guitar and piano and writing music. We'll be playing close attention to his career with particular interest.
Adrian Torres
Adrian assists with many elements of the world-building thought that goes into Rynaga and Iconica. He's also an aspiring musician working on a collection of musical pieces inspired by Rynaga. Adrian's my little bro and one of my heroes.
Ryan Dominique
Every game needs a few good mathematical/analytical minds behind it. Ryan brought this to the table when we were developing the Iconica rules and game mechanic. He's our lead tester for Iconica and helps with ongoing balancing and development of the game. Ryan and I were room mates way back when. He's glad he doesn't have to hear me snore any longer.
Kevin Vaughn-Brubaker
One of our very first patrons became one of our first Iconica Development Team members. Kevin helps with Iconica development and testing as well as running events. Ever seen the Iconica Brew Master card? Kevin recommended that character. Kevin is a musician and bassist with local band Peachcake.
Kevin also leads the charge on enthusiast fiction inspired by the World of Rynaga. Take a look at his website, The Wild Reaches.
Micah Jamison
Micah is a colleague here at Specimen and a knowledgeable web developer. His help was invaluable in building this website. Micah is from the cold mountain ranges of Washington. He's a long way from home.
Josh Darland
Josh not only helps with Iconica testing and development, he's been a tremendous help in organizing our business. As a small company this has been tons of help. Josh is an accomplished origami artist.
Forrest Ranus
Forrest is good friend of Rynaga, volunteering his time on behalf of our events, participating in our development meetups and offering his feedback and experience as a long-time gamer. Forrest is a multimedia and video specialist.
Kirk and Jenny Gyllenskog
Kirk and Jenny are very knowledgeable gamers who've provided us with much honest feedback about Iconica as well as a ton of practical help at our events. Their love of gaming has even taken them to Germany, land of great food, great beer and great games!
Fabien Badilla
The RPG elements found in Iconica will only grow with time and Fabien has offers lots of perspective into how best to do this. We want each character in Iconica to have it's own personality and flavor, so listening to RPG gamers is key for us.
Stephen Carpenter
Stephen is one of our earliest supporters and his efforts on at Phoenix Comicon have been outstanding. As a result of Stephen's help, we've been able to show many more people how to play Iconica in our local gaming community.
